PRESIDENT BUSH ON AGING
Remarks by President Bush about aging.
"One way for our fellow citizens to understand the importance of innovation and technology is, just think about what has taken place over 25 years. Now, for a 59-year-old guy, that doesn't seem like much these days. If you're 26, it seems like a lot ... I'm a bike guy and I like to plug in music on my iPod when I'm riding along to hopefully help me forget how old I am." — Feb. 2, inMaplewood, Minn.
Think about what he is saying. He uses the ipod to think like a 26 year old.
"Think back 25 years ago, in the start of the 1980s.It's not all that long ago, really. Some of us remember the '80s pretty clearly. A lot of kind of gray-haired folks here that lived through the '80s." —Feb. 20, in Milwaukee.
If only he remembered the 70s.
