    China Leading The Global Wind Boom

    China continues to lead global wind energy market, says new report

    “Over 54 gigawatts (GW) of wind power were installed in 2016 and cumulative capacity grew by more than 12 percent to hit 486.8 GW…[Nearly 60 GW of new wind installations are forecast for 2017 and cumulative installed capacity is expected to reach] more than 800 GW by the end of 2021 [according to the Global Wind Energy Council Annual Market Update.
