Inevitably, somebody who thinks he/she is smart will deny global climate change with the canard that concerns about warming are no different than unfounded 1970s fears of global cooling.
The facts are these: (1) Science has been concerned about warming since the 1950s. (2) There never was any scientific basis for claims about cooling. It rode a brief pop wave until it was discredited by the science that today validates global climate change.
This video gets off to a slow start but soon makes its case in a simple, entertaining way that anybody can easily understand and remember.
