“Germany will expand its offshore wind-power capacity fourfold this year as projects totaling 1.5 gigawatts are expected to begin generating…Six farms including the 400-megawatt Global Tech I project and EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (EBK)’s 288-megawatt Baltic 2 plant are seen starting up in 2014…Two more are being built and expected to operate from next year…Three farms with a combined capacity of 520 megawatts are in operation in the German North and Baltic Sea…Construction of at least three more projects with 800 megawatts will start in the course of this and next year…” click here for more
