Signet Solar and BSC-Solar to build 1.8 MW Solar Farm in the Czech Republic; Construction of Solar Farm starts end of October 2009; Grid Connectivity by the end of 2009
October 23, 2009 (Signet Solar)
"Signet Solar and BSC-Solar…are jointly developing a 1.8 MW solar power plant in the Czech Republic, located in the Blížkovice region, South Moravia near the Austrian border. Signet Solar will supply single junction silicon thin film solar photovoltaic modules totaling 1.8 MW for the entire project."

"The installation of the solar farm is set to start by end of October 2009. BSC-Solar will construct the solar photovoltaic farm on five hectares of land using an estimated 20,000 single junction silicon thin film modules. The solar farm will be completed and connected to the grid by the end of the year 2009, and will generate approximately 2.4 million kilowatt hours (Kwh) of electricity annually…
"The two year old BSC-Solar group designs, develops and implements solar projects around the world. The BSC-Solar group is developing projects in Thailand, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. Roof top installations are being built in Germany and the Czech Republic. The BSC-Solar Group is a full value chain project developer, from concept and permitting process for feed-in licenses to project construction and turnkey handover…"
