Vestas to supply turbines for Brazilian wind projects

"Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order to supply 21 units of the V100-1.8MW turbine and 16 units of the V90-3MW turbine for Brazilian wind projects.
"The company will supply and install the turbines for the projects located in the north-eastern Bahia and in the Rio Grande do Norte states…"

"The order comprises delivery, transportation and installation of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system, as well as a five-year service and availability agreement."

"Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start in September 2011 and the projects are expected to be completed by the end of that year.
"Upon completion, the wind power plants are expected to produce approximately 370GWh of electricity per year."
