"Vestas…has been operating in Brazil for a decade. The company opened a Sao Paulo sales office in 2008. And as of Dec. 31, 2010, Vestas had delivered turbines with a total production capacity of 204 megawatts to Brazil…"

"Since Jan. 1, the company has received new orders for another 380 megawatts of capacity.
"Once fully operational, the new Brazil plant will have an annual production capacity of 800 megawatts, or about 400 nacelles…Vestas will also establish a new operations cluster featuring centers dedicated to maintenance, training and supply chain services."
