Solar Energy Enlists

As Tom Friedman likes to say, Green is Red, White and Blue. The implication of this piece, however, goes far beyond any slogan. What the military has realized, though recalcitrants in Congress have yet to catch up, is that solar is more than GREEN energy, it is REAL energy, a practical and dependable alternative that is already worth the price for those on the front lines and is rapidly becoming market-competitive.
