Investing in Renewable Energy Creates Jobs

"With the United States on a path to achieving the 25x'25 clean energy goal, an estimated 1.4 million new jobs would be created by 2015, 2.9 million jobs by 2020, and 4.7 million by 2025, according to a University of Tennessee study. The study, 25% Renewable Energy for the United States by 2025: An Analysis on Jobs Created By Meeting this Goal, shows that jobs will be created by annual economic growth in the renewable energy sector, reaching $208 billion by 2015, $411 billion in 2020, and $646 billion by 2025. In addition, temporal jobs generated through construction are estimated at 1.3 million through over a 15 year period…"
