“The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)…State of the Climate report for 2012…[found] global average sea level in 2012 was 1.4 inches above the 1993-2010 average, which was the highest yearly average in the satellite record (1993-present)…[G]lobal average sea level has been in a fairly steady climb since 1993. In addition to thermal expansion from warmer climate patterns, part of the reason for the climb has been the increase in water being added to the oceans from melting glaciers and ice sheets…” click here for more
