Tri Global Energy took a gamble on the wind and it paid off

“…Tri Global Energy gambled that the state’s ambitious project to build transmission lines would be built on time…[T]he Dallas company leased 600,000 acres with plans to build 15 different wind farms totaling 6,200 megawatts throughout the Texas Panhandle…That risk paid off last year when all the power lines surrounding Tri Global Energy’s land became energized, marking the completion of the state’s Competitive Renewable Energy Zone (CREZ) project…The deal got even sweeter once the Tres Amigas SuperStation got the go-ahead to start construction in the middle of Tri Global Energy’s biggest proposed wind farms…That will allow Tri Global Energy to sell power from Texas to South Carolina to California…” click here for more
