Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System, the world’s biggest concentrating solar power tower officially went online this week. Grammy-winning rockers The Fray shot their most recent video there. “The public is convinced there are only a handful of ways to get energy,” lead singer Isaac Slade said at the Ivanpah opening.“But those old school ways do lasting damage and my generation is hip to that.” From NRGEnergyInc via YouTube
