EPA Head Makes His Climate Change Denial Official
EPA chief Scott Pruitt says carbon dioxide is not a primary contributor to global warming

“Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt said…he does not believe carbon dioxide is a primary contributor to global warming…[He argued that measurements are imprecise, there is “tremendous disagreement” about CO2’s impact, the debate is incomplete, and he does not agree that CO2 is “a primary contributor” to warming…NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration…[have data showing the earth’s average surface temperature has risen about 2.0 degrees Fahrenheit (1.1 degrees Celsius) since the late 19th century and it was “driven largely by increased carbon dioxide and other human-made emissions” in the atmosphere…Democrats and environmentalists opposed Pruitt's nomination to lead the EPA due to his close relationship with fossil fuel companies and his history of casting doubt on climate change.
