    How to Invest in Wind Energy; There are a handful of big players in the industry that investors should be focusing on.

    “Wind energy is booming in the U.S. and around the world, accounting for more than one-third of all electricity capacity installed globally in the last five years [and hundreds of billions of dollars annually]…[It is, however, not easy to invest because manufacturing] is largely done within large conglomerates, and asset ownership often falls to utilities or corporations that have much bigger exposure to other business lines…[There] are a few stocks investors should look at for exposure to the industry…[T]urbine manufacturers are involved in building everything from the tower to the blades that catch the wind. The three to look at as potential investments are General Electric, Siemens, and Vestas Wind Systems…[Wind is the entire business for] Vestas (NASDAQOTH:VWSYF)(NASDAQOTH:VWDRY)…[It is only about 10% of the revenue for] General Electric and Siemens…Pattern Energy (NASDAQ:PEGI) is a wind-focused yieldco with 2,736 MW of generating capacity in the U.S., Canada, and Chile…TerraForm Power (NASDAQ:TERP) is another yieldco that owns renewable energy assets…” click here for more
