“June’s announced policy change by the National Energy Administration in China, terminating any approvals for new subsidized utility-scale PV power stations in 2018…[is expected to reduce China’s 2018 PV demand] from 48.2 GW to 28.8 GW...[and its demand through 2022 from 206 GW to] 141 GW…Q3 2018’s 85.2 GW of global demand will be] the lowest quarterly level of global PV demand since 2015…Asia will continue to account for at least 50% of the global annual install through 2020…
