Global wind energy annual installations set to grow by 40 per cent through 2027; The report says that the global turbine supply chain potential currently stands at $540 billion over the next ten years.

“Global annual wind energy installations are expected to grow by 40 per cent over the next decade - from 53 Gigawatt (GW) in 2018 to over 75 GW in 2027…[P]ressure to lower the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) is accelerating technology developments…[The higher efficiency will all more MWs produced by next-generation turbines with] a 20 per cent decline in the total number of turbines deployed, from over 20,000 turbines in 2018 to just over 16,000 by 2027…
